Getting excited

We managed to check in without any problem and on Natalie's recommendation managed to book 'upstairs' with the premium economy travellers. Great, we now get to enjoy that little bit of extra space and spread out our clutter. 

Good drive to Purple Parking and when we arrived I casually mentioned to the driver that we didn't really want to go to Terminal 3 as we were staying overnight at the Park Inn. 5 mins later we set off and he said that as we were the only passengers he would drive via the Park Inn and drop us off. What a nice man. It saved us the hassle of going to Terminal 3 first and then getting the airport bus to the hotel. 

We are now sat having a lovely cup of tea and will shortly go off to have a sauna, steam and swim. The only thing we need to decide is whether we share the king bed or whether John gets relegated to the queen. Decisions, decisions. The holiday has begun.
